Prof. Norman S. Allen obtained his BSc degree in Chemistry and Polymer Technology in 1972 from the University of Wales and his PhD from the University of Salford in 1976 for studies on Photoinduced Processes in Polymers. In 1983 Prof. Allen was awarded honorary DSc degree from the University of Salford in recognition of his contribution to advancements in the field of Polymer Photochemistry. In his early years he was a chemist at Dow Corning from 1965-1969 working on new silicone polymers. In June 1990 he was appointed to a Chair in Applied Chemistry in the Materials and Chemistry Department where he has maintained a highly active research school in aspects of polymer degradation, stabilisation, polymer analysis, spectroscopy of polymers etc. Prof. Allen has written/co-authored 14 text books in these fields and published over 550 research articles in scientific journals. He serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Photochemistry and Photobiology, Journal of Vinyl and Additive Technology, Polymer Degradation and Stability and Dyes and Pigments. His latest book in 2010 is Photochemistry and Photophysics of Polymer Materials (WileyInterscience).

Dr. Patrice Berthod is Associate Professor at the University of Lorraine in the great east of France. Mechanical engineer graduated from the Ecole Centrale de Lille in 1987, he defended his Ph.D. in materials science and engineering in 1993 (solidification mechanisms of SG cast irons) and his Ability to Supervise Researches in chemistry in 2010 (carbides-strengthened refractory alloys). His teaching activities and researches concern the microstructures and mechanical/corrosion properties of cast superalloys (at high temperatures), steels, cast irons and dental alloys (at ambient temperature). His scientific production is 240 articles, 80 proceedings, 5 patents and 200 oral and poster communications.

Mohd. Mustafa Al Bakri Abdullah is Associate Professor at Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP). His areas of expertise are as follows: concrete processing and testing, geopolymer concrete, green concrete, composite, ceramic, and polymeric concrete. He was awarded the Top Research Malaysia (TRMS) in 2013, and also received several awards from international and national organization based on his geopolymer research. Now he is one of the specialists in geopolymer field and established Center of Excellence Geopolymer & Green Technology (CEGeoGTech), UniMAP, the only geopolymer center in ASEAN. His achievements include more than 350 journal publications based on Scopus Database, and more than 30 books and 30 patents of his research product.

Mohammed Abd-Lefdil is a Professor of Physics at Mohammed V University of Rabat, Morocco. He completed his PhD thesis on solid state physics from University of Montpellier, France. Six years later, he came back to his home country; and, since 2005, he is Head of Materials Physics Laboratory. His main areas of research involve the development of new materials for photovoltaic conversion (thin films of transparent conducting oxide and absorber semiconductors) and electrochemical storage. He is also involved in multiferroics materials topic.

Assoc. Professor Dr. A.S.M. Abdul Awal has been working in the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia since August 2016 after serving more than seven years at the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Prior to joining UTM, he was a Professor in the Department of Farm Structure and Environmental Engineering of Bangladesh Agricultural University. Prof Abdul Awal has over 40 years of teaching and research experience in the field of cement and concrete technology and published hundred over technical papers in various peer reviewed indexed journals and international conference proceedings.

Dr. Jahangeer Ahmed is an Assistant Professor (Chemistry, College of Sciences) at the King Saud University, KSA. He did his Ph.D in Chemistry with Professor Ashok K Ganguli from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India. He worked in the United State of America (USA) as a postdoctoral Research Associate for three and half years (in the Michigan State University and the University of Texas – RGV, USA). He published several research articles in peer reviewed journals having high impact factors. His area of research interest is to synthesize inorganic nanostructured materials for energy based applications.

Ananthakumar Ramadoss is a Jr. Scientist at the LARPM, Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology, India. He received his Ph.D. degree from Jeju National University, South Korea. Thereafter, he worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at KAIST, Korea and Humboldt Fellow at University of Konstanz, Germany. Previously, he was a research fellow at the Central Electrochemical Research Institute, India. He has published more than 45 scientific publications (h-index: 20), one patent and one book chapter. His research interests lie in the broad areas of energy storage, energy harvesting, self-powered systems, thin films, corrosion, and implantable medical devices.

Prof. Ewa Andrzejewska (Ph.D., D.Sc., Eng.) obtained a doctor degree (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from the A. Mickiewicz University, Poznan, Poland, habilitation in Chemical Technology from Poznan University of Technology (Poznan, Poland) and professor title from the President. She is the full professor at Poznan University of Technology, Faculty of Chemical Technology and is the head of Polymer Department. Prof. Andrzejewska authored more than 100 scientific publications and 6 patents. She is also advisor of many PhD. theses;she lectures in chemistry and polymer technology.

Dr. Nour F. Attia, got his PhD from South Korean government at Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) in 2013. Currently, he is Assistant Professor at chemistry Division, National Institute of Standards, Egypt since Dec 2013. He is conducting research in preparation and characterization of nanocomposites for (a) various applications (b) in nanoporous materials for energy storage applications (c) in polymer (d) metal nanoparticles. Additionally, Dr. Nour F. Attia has an outstanding experience in the preparation and characterization of flame retardant materials for polymeric, textile and wood materials protection. He has published many research articles in reputable impact factor international journals and patents. He has received 5 honors and awards over the years.

Dr. Olumide Bolarinwa Ayodele received his BEng in Chemical Engineering from Federal University of Technology Minna, Nigeria in 2006, MSc in Chemical Engineering from University of Science Malaysia in 2012 and PhD in Chemical Engineering from University of Malaya, Malaysia in 2015. He joined University Teknologi PETRONAS as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist in 2015 and he is presently a Senior Lecturer is the department of Chemical Engineering. His research interest is catalysis and advanced materials for energy studies. His recent findings in the field of catalysis and energy was published in Scientific Reports, Nature.

Prof. Barnoush received the B.A. degree in extractive metallurgy of nonferrous alloys in 1997, and the M.Sc. degree in corrosion engineering in 1999, from Sharif University of technology. After four years working in the industry as a consultant engineer in the field of corrosion and corrosion protection he moved to Germany where he received his Ph.D. with Summa cum laude from Saarland University in 2008. After four years of research and teaching in Saarland University as a tenure track (Habiltant) he moved to NTNU, Trondheim to fulfil an abroad stay to accomplish his Habilitation in Germany. Since 2014 he becomes a Professor with the department of mechanical and industrial engineering at NTNU. His main area of research is nano- and micro- mechanics of materials with a special focus on environmental effects.

Raffaele Barretta was born in Naples (Italy) March 20, 1980. Master Degree (5 years) in Civil Engineering with magna laude at University of Naples Federico II, 2003 - Title of thesis: Polar Models of Beams and Shells in Large Deformations. Ph.D. in Structural Mechanics at University of Naples Federico II, 2007 - Title of thesis: Mixed Variational Methods in Elasticity. Associate Professor of Solid and Structural Mechanics at the Department of Structures for Engineering and Architecture of the University of Naples Federico II since 2015.

Germana Barone is PhD in Petrology of magmatic associations (1998-2001). She is Associate Professor (SSD GEO/09) at the Department of Biological, Geological and Environmental Sciences of the University of Catania. She is member of: GeoRaman International Science Advisory Committee; AiAR (Associazione Italiana di Archeometria); SIMP (Società Italiana di Mineralogia e Petrologia); GABeC (Gruppo nazionale informale di Georisorse, Ambiente, Beni Culturali. She collaborates with numerous Italian and European research groups and benefit of lab time for scientific measurements in international laboratories, approved by a scientific committee. The results of the whole research activity have been published in numerous papers of which 79 on ISI Journals, 40 conference proceedings, 17 book sections and 100 extended abstracts.

Salvatore Benfratello was born in Palermo (Italy) February 13, 1967. Master Degree (5 years) in Civil Engineering with Magna Laude at University of Palermo, 1991 – Thesis title “Stochastic dynamics of offshore structures”. PhD in structural mechanics at University of Palermo, 1997 Thesis title “Stochastic dynamics of offshore structures”. Associate Professor of Structural Mechanics at Department of Civil, Environmental, Aerospace, Materials Engineering of the University of Palermo since 2006.

Gary Blanchard received his BS degree in Chemistry with Honors from Bates College in 1981 and his PhD degree in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 1985. That same year he joined Bell Communications Research in Red Bank, New Jersey, where he worked on environmental and contaminants research and ultra-high speed photonic signal processing. In 1991 Blanchard joined the Chemistry faculty at Michigan State University as an Assistant Professor, rising through the ranks to Professor in 1999. Blanchard has published more than 200 peer-reviewed papers, holds 7 patents, has presented more than 270 talks at National and international meetings and universities, and has graduated 31 PhDs and 10 MSs during his 26+ years at Michigan State University.

Ilaria Cacciotti is Associate Professor of Materials Science&Technology and Biomaterials&Tissue Engineering at the University of Rome "Niccolò Cusano". She graduated in Medical Engineering (Master of Science Award ‘Fondazione Raeli’) and got the Ph.D in Materials Engineering (Ph.D Thesis Awards ‘Marco Ramoni’ 2011 and AIMAT 2012). She is expert in the synthesis and characterisation of materials, particularly for biomedical/environmental/agro-industrial sectors. She was awarded with: 8th CCT Award “Best Oral Presentation for Young Researchers”, 10th International Award “Sciacca”, European Biomaterials&Tissue Engineering Doctoral Award 2011, “Young Researcher Award Elsevier "Materials Science&Engineering C" 2014, Good Energy Award 2016, “L’ORÉAL-UNESCO Italy for Women&Science Award 2011”.

Dr. Chen is an ARC DECRA Fellow in the school of Civil and Mechanical Engineering at Curtin University. His work is important to prevent infrastructural catastrophic failure and provide safe, resilient, cost-effective and sustainable infrastructure. Dr. Chen has generated 62 technical papers and reports including 27 peer-reviewed journal articles, 24 conference papers and 11 technical reports. Since 2012, His publication has received 216 citations with H-Index 9 (Google scholar). Dr. Chen as Lead Chief Investigator received two research grants from ARC (DECRA and Linkage).

Dr. Chong Cheng is an AvH postdoc researcher in Freie Universität Berlin. He obtained his BS degree in Biomedical Engineering, Sichuan University. Then, he pursued his Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Prof. Changsheng Zhao. From 2013, he had been doing research works at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with Prof. Nicholas A. Kotov as Joint-Training Ph.D. student. After finishing his Ph.D studies, he joined the group of Prof. Dr. Rainer Haag postdoctoral researcher. His publication includes over 70 papers on designing carbon nanomaterial based architectures for tissue regeneration, stem-cell therapy, and biological electrodes.

Dr. Nitin Choudhary is a postdoctoral scholar at the NanoScience Technology Center (NSTC) of the University of Central Florida (UCF). He received his Ph.D. in experimental condensed matter physics from the premier Indian Institute of Technology, India. He authored/co-authored 28 peer-reviewed scientific articles in highly reputed journals of ACS Nano, Advanced Materials, Materials Today, and Scientific Reports. He is the author of two book chapters and one US patent with another patent pending. He has been working in the field of low-dimensional (2D) materials for next generation electronics, energy, and environmental applications.

Dr. Patrizia Cinelli PhD in Chemistry at Pisa University partly performed at the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Peoria, IL, USA. 20 years of experience in materials science, polymer processing and characterization, biodegradation and life cycle assessment. She is co-author of over 50 papers in peer-reviewed journal, 9 book chapters, and 8 patents on innovative materials. She is lecture, professor of applied chemistry and Materials Technology at Master Degree student of Construction Engineering and Architecture at Pisa University. Dr. Corradi is actually an Aggregate Professor at Perugia University, Italy. With an internationally recognized research profile in the field of structural analysis of historic constructions, he has been invited as a guest speaker at numerous seminars across Europe and USA. In addition, he is a peer reviewer for 10 high impact factor journals and sit on the editorial board of 4 scientific engineering journals. The research component focuses on the use of new materials, masonry and wood constructions. He is author of 174 articles and 4 books. He served as Associate Professor at Northumbria University from 2013 to 2017.

Dr. Nishad G Deshpande is currently working as a DST INSPIRE Faculty at Department of Physics, Shivaji University, Kolhapur. Dr. José I. Alvarez, Full Professor of Inorganic Chemistry, Head of the Inorganic Materials & Environment Research Group, University of Navarra (Spain). Co-author of more than 70 research papers. Dr Morteza Sasani Ghamsari is a senior researcher in the Photonics & Quantum Technologies Research School of Iran. His research focused on the preparation and characterization of oxide nanocrystals, semiconductor quantum dots and plasmonic nanomaterials. His recent interests have also focused on OLEDs, Bioimaging and Graphene-based devices. He is editorial board and reviewer of different international journals. He edited 1 book, published 3 chapter books and over 80 articles in scientific journals as well as in reviewed conference proceedings.

Dr. Constantin Gheorghies obtained his Ph.D. degree (in 1993) in Physics from Alexandru Ioan Cuza University, Iași, Romania. Dr. Gheorghies is currently Professor in the Physics Department at “Dunărea de Jos” University of Galați, Galați, Romania. His fields of competence mainly involve Structural Analysis (X-ray diffractometry), Solid State Physics, Nondestructive Control, Films and thin layers, Thermal treatments, Defectoscopy, Microscopy, Crystallography, Tribology, Mathematics, Nanomaterials, and Industrial Design. Dr. Gheorghies, as an author/co-author, has published more than 55 articles in various journals.

Dr. Guo received his B.S. degree, M.S. degree and Ph.D. degree in Highway and Railway Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, China. He worked as a visiting scholar in Civil Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin for one year. Dr. Guo has conducted research in several areas related to the design and performance of bituminous materials. These include: (a) characterizing physical and chemical properties of asphalt binders and aggregates including fillers, (b) evaluating the effects of polymers and inorganic fillers on the rheology of asphalt binder and asphalt mixture, and (c) investigating the interfacial interaction between asphalt binder and mineral aggregate.

Dr. Sapna Gupta is currently a Senior Process Technology Development Engineer at Intel Corporation. She obtained her Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering at University of Connecticut, USA. Her research interests include Materials/Process technology development, Energy conversion electrochemical devices, Semiconductor, Characterization and evaluation of chemical/structural/thermal/interface stability of materials/products in aggressive environment. Dr. Gupta has received many prestigious awards including the “Woman of Innovation” award from Connecticut Technology Council, “Young Alumni Achiever Award” from National Institute of Technology, Trichy, “Baker Researcher Award” from Fuel Cell Energy and Exposition, and “Graduate award for excellence in Materials Science” from The American Ceramic Society.

Mehdi Hatami received his PhD degree in polymer chemistry from the Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran in 2011. He has been an academic member of department of polymer science and engineering at University of Bonab, Bonab, Iran from 2012 up to now. His current research focus is on constructing specific nanocomposites with surface modified nanostructures. He has published more than 40 research papers with an h-index of 14. His research interest includes fabrication and characterization of novel polymers, nanomaterials, and nanocomposites for application in electronics, sensors and composites systems.

Dr. Nanjing Hao obtained his PhD in physical chemistry from the Chinese Academy of Sciences (2014) and then did postdoctoral studies at University of Massachusetts (2014-2016). He is currently a research associate in Thayer School of Engineering, Dartmouth College. Dr. Hao has been invited to write more than five critical reviews of materials science for journals like “International Materials Review”, “Biosensors and Bioelectronics”, and “Biomaterials Science”. His research interests include shaped-controllable materials synthesis, microfluidics-based flow synthesis, nanobiotechnology, and glyconanomaterials.

Dr. Ray-Hua Horng did Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from National Cheng Kung University (1987-1993). She did her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from National Sun Yat-Sen University (1987-1993). Currently, she is a professor in Department of Electrical Engineering, National Chiao-Tung University (Taiwan). Dr. Horng field of specialty is in (a) Solid-state lighting devices (b) solar cells, power device (c) HEMT (d) flexible electronics (e) optoelectronics and (f) Nitride and oxide semiconductor MOCVD growths. She has numerous awards/honors and international publications to her credit.

Associate Professor Dr. Shahid Hussain has been working in the Facility of Materials Science and Engineering, Jiangsu University, China since July 2017. He has completed his Master’s Degree and Physics in 2008, PhD in Materials Science and Engineering 2015 and Post-Doctorate Fellow ship in 2017, respectively. His research area includes preparation of metal oxides and chalcognides for the applications in Gas-sensors and Electrochemical supercapacitors. Dr. Ani Kulkarni is a Senior Research Scientist and currently a Project Leader for CSIRO’s ‘Electrochemical Conversion of CO2’ strategic project. He has several years of experience in technical project management and delivery related to electrochemical energy materials and devices, catalysis and membrane technologies for chemical separation and synthesis.

Dr. Jyothi Rajesh Kumar is a Principal Researcher at Korea Institute of Geoscience & Mineral Resources (KIGAM) Daejeon, South Korea. He has 18 years R & D experience in the fields of Hydrometallurgy, Resources Recycling and Analytical/Materials Chemistry. He visited several countries such as USA, Japan, Germany, Canada, China, Taiwan, Thailand, Portugal, Czech Republic, Singapore and South Korea as Invited Researcher as well as to present his research findings. Alberto Lagazzo obtained his M.D. in Chemical Engineering in 2007 and PhD in Materials Science at the University of Genoa in 2011, with a doctoral thesis on the study of kaolin dispersions in liquid-phase. Today he is research fellow at the University of Genoa (DICCA), dealing of inorganic materials and in particular of solid-liquid interfaces and reactions of decomposition. In the biomedical field his research is focused on the preparation and mechanical characterization of bioceramic materials used as bone substitute (calcium phosphates) and of soft tissues based on gel and polymeric matrix. Yuekun Lai is a full professor in College of Textile and Clothing Engineering in Soochow University, since 2013. He obtained Ph.D. degree from Department of Chemistry, Xiamen University. In 2009–2011, he worked as a research fellow at School of MSE, NTU, Singapore. Then moved to Muenster University under the support of Humboldt Foundation Scholarship of Germany. His research topics are bio-inspired intelligent materials with special wettability, multifunctional fabrics, and TiO2 nanostructures for energy & environmental applications. He has published over 110 journal papers. The WOS citation is over 4200 with an H-index of 37.

Dr. Hongze Luo is a senior researcher at the council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in South Africa. He received his PhD degree from the department of chemistry, University of the Western Cape, in 2008. His current research interest is focused on the materials development for electrochemical energy storage and conversion, such as lithium ion batteries and fuel cells. His main research focus is Energy Materials: Lithium ion battery and Fuel Cell, Electrochemistry and Nanotechnology.

Dr. Cabrera-Marrero holds a PhD in Metallurgical Engineering by Technical University of Catalonia (UPC, 1995). He is currently Full Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering of UPC. He has performed research stays at McGill University (Canada), at IPN, UANL and UNAM (México) and in UFSC (Brazil). During more than 15 years he was in charge of metallic forming projects at Fundacio CTM Technical Center. He has participated in more than 50 research projects. His area of expertise is twofold: i) characterizing the plastic deformation behavior of metals, mainly at high temperature and ii) development of ultrafine and nano grained metallic materials by severe plastic deformation processes.

Dr. TAMMANA S.R.C. MURTHY is currently a Scientific Officer at Materials Processing and Corrosion Engineering Division of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai, India. He obtained Ph.D. from Homi Bhabha National Institute, M.Tech. from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and Bachelor degree in Metallurgy was from National Institute of Technology, Warangal. he has published more than 50 papers in various international journals. He is recipient of several awards/ fellowships like Marie Curie Post-Doctoral, DST travel grant, Young Metallurgist, Young Engineer, Group Achievement, All India Innovative Student Project and several Best poster awards. h-index in Google Scholar - 18 and Scopus-16.

Nam is becoming a materials scientist due to a record of creative innovation which helped him to be the best researcher in 2010 for the Brain Korea 21. He received his Ph.D. in Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University in 2011 and an immediate fellowship was appointed him to the ADPRF by Deakin University from 2012 to 2014. He is currently a manager of the Department of Science and Technology, PetroVietnam University. He has more than 10 years of experience in the field of investigation, characterization and evaluation of corrosion, corrosion inhibitors, electrochemistry, advanced materials science and metallurgy.

Raffaele Pucinotti is Aggregate Professor of  Structural Engineering at the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria, Italy. He gradued in Civil Engineerign with magna laude at University of Napoli Federico II and and achieved his Ph.D in Structural Engineering at University of Catania.  He is editorial board member and reviewer of numerous international journal. Dr. Paras Ram is a Professor and Head in the Department of Mathematics at National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, Haryana (India). He received his Ph.D. degree from the Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Kurukshetra University (India) in the area of Tribology (Fluid Dynamics) in 1994. His research interests include Nano-Fluids Modelling, Heat and Mass Transfer, Transport in Porous Media, Boundary Layer Theory, Rheology, etc. He has an experience of 25 years in teaching and research. Dr. Mehdi Razavi is Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Regenerative Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine. Prior to this appointment he was Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Biomaterials at Brunel University London and Research Scholar in Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering at Oklahoma State University. He holds a PhD in Biomaterials from Isfahan University of Technology and Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, MS in Materials Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology and BS in Materials Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology. His current multi-disciplinary research program is focused on biomaterials, tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, and nanotechnology.

Emmanuel Richaud was born in 1979 in France. He prepared a thesis on the thermal oxidation of polypropylene geotextiles used in Civil Engineering. After getting his PhD in 2006, he joined Prof Jacques Verdu’s team in Arts et Métiers ParisTech and became associate professor position in 2009. He is full professor since 2016.His work mainly focuses on the mechanisms responsible for degradation of polymers and composites, and is aimed at developing kinetic models for describing the changes in molecular structure and the link with technological properties. He has co-authored more than 60 papers, book chapters in this field.

Dr. Joan Josep Roa Rovira is currently a tenure track lecturer Professor at Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering, Universitat Politècnica De Catalunya. He did bachelors in chemical engineering from Universitat Rovira I Virgili in 2005 and bachelors in materials engineering from Universitat Politècnica De Catalunya-Barcelona tech in 2007. He then did Ph.D. in mechanical properties of HTSC at micro/nanometric scale from Universitat De Barcelona in 2010.

Dr. Felice De Santis obtained his Ph.D. degree from University of Palermo, Italy. Since 2004 he is a research fellow and lecturer of Transport Phenomena at University of Salerno, Italy. He obtained the National Scientific Qualification as Associate Professor in 2017. His fields of expertise are as follows: polymer processing, with a special focus on injection molding; properties and transport phenomena in polymers; methods of interpretation and optimum use of calorimetry; innovative products in the field of biodegradable polymers. Dr. De Santis has published over 40 papers in journals having a significant number of total citations, i.e. about 600 and h-index of 13.

Dr. Faiz Uddin Ahmed Shaikh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Curtin University. He did bachelor of Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh in 1993. His Master was in Structural Engineering from Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand in 1998. He then did Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from National University of Singapore in 2004. He has numerous publications to his credit.

Dr. Mohsen Sheikholeslami works in the Department of Mechanical Engineering , Babol Noshirvani University of technology, Iran. His research interests are CFD, Mesoscopic modeling of fluid, Nonlinear Science, Nanofluid, Magnetohydrodynamic, Ferrohydrodynamic and Electrohydrodynamic. He has written several papers and books in various filed of mechanical engineering. According to the reports of Thomson Reuters, he has been selected as a Web of Science Highly Cited Researcher (Top 0.01%) in 2016. He is also the first author of the books " Applications of Nanofluid for Heat Transfer Enhancement", "Hydrothermal Analysis in Engineering Using Control Volume Finite Element Method" and "External Magnetic Field Effects on Hydrothermal Treatment of Nanofluid" which are published in ELSEVIER.

Dr. Navinchandra Gopal Shimpi is working as an Associate Professor in University of Mumbai, Mumbai, since April 2014. He is recipient of Young Scientist Award from APA in 2014 and Dnyanjoti Puraskar in 2008. He has published more than 65 papers in good impact factor International Journals and also delivered approximately 40 lectures. He is having two granted patents and four are currently under examination. He has successfully organized national and international conferences with SDP and STTP. He is Associate Editor of International Journal of Chemical Studies and worked as Lead Guest Editor for a special issue of International Journal of Polymer Science. Dr. Shimpi has edited a book on the topic of Biodegradable and Biocompatible Polymer Composites: Processing, Properties and Applications.

Jordi Sort. Prof. Sort leads the Gnm3 Group as an ICREA Research Professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. His research is focused on a wide variety of materials (thin films, lithographed structures, porous materials and nanocomposites) with emphasis on their magnetic and mechanical performance. He received awards from the Catalan and Spanish Physical Societies as well as the Federation of European Materials Societies. Dr. Saleh Tahamtan is assistant professor in Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman, Iran. He completed his PhD thesis on fabrication of Aluminum matrix nano composites from Tehran University, Iran. His main research area is developing new strategies for fabrication of metal matrix nano composites using graphene as a mean for keeping nano particles apart. He has published many articles in reputable journals relative to this field.

Prof. Rachid TOUIR was born in 1977, Kenitra City, Morocco. He received his Ph.D. in Physics Chemistry, from Ibn Tofail University, Morocco. He has published more than 79 papers in international journals. His work has been cited 783 total citations by 453 documents with h-index = 17 (since 2006 in SCOPUS) and presented about 65 communications in symposia and national/international meetings. He’s honored with the award “best thesis researcher” in Ibn Tofail University ,2009. He has developed 2 patents and has participated in 4 national research projects. Dr. Wen-Tien Tsai is a Professor and Director in Graduate Institute of Bio resources, National Pingtung University of Science and Technology. He did B.S. in chemical engineering from Tamkang University in 1985 and M.S. in chemical engineering from National Taiwan University in 1987. Later in 1994, he became a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from National Taiwan University. Since 1994, over 150 research papers (including about 4,000 citations and 37 h-index papers based on the survey by the Web of Science) have been published in the SCI/SSCI/EI journals.

Edgar Mosquera has worked on the development of nanomaterials and systems for energy storage, photocatalysis, and optoelectronic applications. He received his PhD degree in Physical-Chemistry and MSc in Physics from the University of Puerto Rico, PR-USA, in 2010 and 2003. In September 2010, he worked as a postdoctoral research in the Department of Materials Science at the University of Chile, Chile. In 2011, he was appointed an Assistant Professor at the University of Chile, where he worked with a research group of more than ten undergraduate and graduate students, and Post-Doctoral fellows. His research projects were funded by the Government of Chile, and Industry. He moved to the Department of Physics, “Universidad del Valle”, Cali, Colombia, as an Assistant Professor in 2017. His current research is focused on development of advanced materials at the nanoscale for optoelectronic applications and water remediation.

Prof. Ke Wang obtained his BS in magnetic physics and devices and Ph.D in microelectronics and solid state electronics from HUST. He had been working in the UK as a research fellow for several years. Previously, he received Alexander von Humboldt (AvH) research award to carry out his work in RWTH-Aachen. Currently he is holding a ‘Minjiang Scholar’ Distinguished Professorship and directing the Lab for Information Storage and Film Technology at Huaqiao University, Xiamen. Prof. Wang has been serving as Editorial Board Member for several scientific journals. He has published more than 70 peer reviewed papers and holds several patents.

Xuemin Wang received the B.S and the M.S degrees from Sichuan University in 1999 and 2002, respectively. He received the Ph.D degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2008. The, he worked in Research Center of Laser Fusion, China Academy of Engineering Physics as a Postdoctoral Fellow, an Associate Professor and an Professor from 2008 to now. His main research area is developing new functional materials and its relative applications.

Jun Yan received his PhD degree in materials science from Harbin Engineering University in 2010 and carried out his postdoctoral research in the Harbin Engineering University (2010–2012). He is now a full professor at the College of Material Science and Chemical Engineering, Harbin Engineering University. He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers in international journals. Zhuoqing Yang received the B.Sc. and the M.Sc. degrees from Harbin Engineering University in 2003 and 2005, respectively. He received the Ph. D. degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) in 2010. Then, he stayed in Research Institute of Micro/Nano Science and Technology as an Assistant Professor. He spent 2011 through 2013 as a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow in National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) in Japan. He went back to SJTU in 2014 as an Associate Professor in School of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering. He is also a member of IEEE.

Dr. Mahmoud F Zawrah is a professor of material chemistry and nanotechnology at center of excellence for advanced sciences, advanced materials and nanotechnology group – ceramics department, National Research Centre (NRC), Cairo, Egypt. Since 1990, he was working in NRC and was later promoted to full professor position in 2007. His M.Sc. and Ph.D. were awarded from Cairo University on 1992 and 1996, respectively. He was awarded postdoctoral positions in Germany (two times), USA and Japan. He has supervised more than 35 MSc and PhD theses. Moreover, he awarded many local, national and region prizes. Also, he has been hired for many national and local administrative positions and scientific committees. He has published more than 130 articles in international journals and conferences.

Dr. Rolf Zehbe is scientist at the University of Potsdam, Germany, and technology consultant at VDI Technologiezentrum (VDI TZ) GmbH, Germany. His previous occupations include supervision of preclinical testing and biomaterials development as director at BLS Laboratories GmbH, and work as scientist at Otto Bock HealthCare GmbH. His current research interests cover materials science, physics and chemistry as well as imaging. Presently -Ikerbasque Research professor at the Department of the Materials Physics of the University of Basque Country, Spain. Heah, Cheng-Yong received his Ph.D degree in Materials Engineering from Universiti Malaysia Perlis, Malaysia and currently serves as a senior researcher at Center of Excellence Geopolymer and Green Technology (CEGeoGTech), Malaysia. His research interests focuses on materials engineering, geopolymers, construction materials, materials characterization, materials processing and related. He has been serving as the editorial board member for several scientific journals, and also as reviewers for international journals.

Dr. Heidarzadeh received his Ph.D. degree from Faculty of Materials Engineering, Sahand University of Technology, in 2016. Now, he is an assistant professor working at Faculty of Engineering, Department of Materials Engineering, Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University, Tabriz, Iran. Recently, his research interest focused on microstructure, texture, and mechanical properties of different materials processed by deformation processes (especially the FSW/FSP), casting, etc.

Dr. Yung-Chih Kuo obtained his Ph.D. degree from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan. Since Aug 2007, Dr. Kuo is Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at National Chung Cheng University, Chia-Yi, Taiwan. His fields of expertise are as follows: Biomaterials, Drug delivery system, Nanomedicine, Tissue engineering (Cartilage, Pancreas), Blood–brain barrier, Cancer therapy, Nerve regeneration (Spinal cord injury treatment, Stroke treatment, Alzheimer’s disease therapy, Parkinson’s disease therapy), Biophysics, Colloid and Interface science. Giovanni Minafò earned his Ph.D. in Structural Engineering (2012) presenting the final work “Theoretical and experimental analysis of D-regions in RC members” at University of Palermo. He used to be a post-doctoral researcher at University of Enna “Kore” since May 2012 to December 2014, and he was involved in the LEDA (Laboratory of Earthquake engineering and Dynamic Analysis) project and working also as project lecturer.

He is actually Assistant Professor at University of Palermo since October 2015. He is lecturer of “Analysis and design of structural rehabilitation of buildings” and “Reinforced Concrete” courses.

Dr. T. Muthuramalingam is presently working as Assistant Professor, Department of Mechatronics Engineering, SRM University, Kattankulathur, India. He has completed his Master and Doctoral degree under Mechanical Engineering in the year 2008 and 2014 respectively. His research areas of interest are Mechatronics, Manufacturing automation, micro machining and energy conservation.

Dr. T. Prakash received the M.Sc degree in Physics from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore in 2009 and Ph.D degree in Nanotechnology from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore in 2015. He is currently working as an assistant professor at the department of physics, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore. His research specialization is Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. He has published more than 18 articles in reputed International Journals with good no of citations. His research interests include the synthesis and characterization techniques of nonmaterials for the development of Photo-Enhanced high sensitive Gas sensors.

Wageh S. received the Ph.D. degree from the Northern Jiaotong University, China (2003). He was a Visiting Scholar at the University of Kentucky, from 2008 to 2009, an Associate Professor at Menoufia University (2009), full Professor at King Abdulaziz University, KSA (2014). His research interests include quantum confined structures, solar cells, Light emitting devices, graphene, and composites. Dr. Wageh was the recipient a prize from Menoufia University (12/1995), a prize from Association of Arab Universities (2008), Dr. Mostafa Bahgat Abd El Mota’al Prize (2011) and Award a prize from King Abdulaziz University, KSA (2017).

Ruishi Xie received his B.S. degree in Materials Physics from Southwest University of Science and Technology in 2006, and Ph.D. degree in Materials Physics and Chemistry from Sichuan University in 2011. Then he joined Analytical and Testing Center, and Department of Materials, at Southwest University of Science and Technology as an Assistant Professor. His main research field consists of the development of various nanostructures, and their application in batteries, sensors and light-emitting diodes.
